She gained her first professional experience at the central intensive care unit of Ny\u00edr\u0151 Gyula Hospital and passed her board examination in anaesthesiology and intensive care in 1994. Since 1992, she has been a member of staff at the V\u00e1rosmajor Heart and Vascular Center of Semmelweis University, where she passed her cardiology board examination in 2007. Her primary professional interest is the ultrasound diagnostics of cardiovascular diseases. <strong>She played a pioneering role at the V\u00e1rosmajor Clinic in introducing transcatheter cardiac procedures, and is a recognised expert and educator \u2014 both nationally and internationally \u2014 in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, with a particular focus on valvular heart conditions.<\/strong> Since 1992, she has participated in numerous national and international research projects and holds a PhD. She is a regular organiser of and invited speaker at national and international congresses, an associate professor, and President of the Echocardiography Licensing Training Panel.
