“A healthy heart is the best investment in life.”
Dr. András Mihály Boros was born in Szeged and grew up in a family of doctors where healing was a part of everyday life, and the love for medicine was a family legacy.
He began his medical studies in 2005 at the University of Szeged’s Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 2011 with Summa cum Laude honors. He started his professional career in Germany and later continued at Semmelweis University in Budapest, where he earned his PhD in heart failure research. In 2021, he successfully completed his cardiology specialization exam and has since been dedicated to preserving the health of his patients.
In his medical practice, he places great emphasis on the use of modern diagnostic tools, especially cardiac ultrasound diagnostics, ECG analysis, and stress tests. He has significant experience in the field of cardiac rehabilitation, gained at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department of the Városmajor Clinic. He primarily deals with the comprehensive rehabilitation of patients who have suffered a heart attack, undergone heart surgery, or suffer from heart failure, focusing on optimizing medication, treating comorbidities, promoting lifestyle changes, healthy nutrition, exercise programs, and supporting smoking cessation.
His specialty lies in the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular diseases. He believes it is important that patients seek his help not only when symptoms arise, but early enough when changes can still be made. At the Parliament Medical Center, he performs examinations and treatments using modern diagnostic tools, expertise, and empathy, ensuring the best care for his patients. On his personal website (doctorboros.com), he regularly publishes on the HeartHealth Blog, which covers the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, healthy living, and interesting cardiology topics.
