Principal investigator in 15 clinical trials; sub-investigator in a further 19 clinical trials

Dr. Eleni Kanakaridu has been devoted to the medical profession for 30 years. Since 1995, she has served as a chief rheumatologist — first at St. Rókus Hospital and currently at the Semmelweis University Outpatient Specialist Clinic. She has participated as a principal investigator in numerous international clinical trials.

Treatment approaches used:

  • Pharmacological therapy (analgesics)
  • Local infiltrations (local anaesthetic injections, intra-articular viscosupplementation, knee joint cartilage regeneration injections)
  • Pain-relief infusions
  • Infusion and intravenous injection therapies for osteoporosis
