Within the broader field of general neurology, I have focused my practice on emergency stroke care, where active and effective therapeutic intervention takes center stage. In this area, time is always the critical factor — requiring both rapid, clinically sound decision-making and intuitive action. Sudden, unexpected neurological symptoms can transform any of us into helpless, vulnerable individuals in an instant, erasing all differences of status, rank, or pride. For me, being a doctor in these often deeply unsettling and sobering situations is what gives my work meaning and value.
Since 2016, my experience in vascular neurology and neurovascular ultrasound has expanded to include neurointerventional procedures. This now represents a complex, interdisciplinary scope of practice, in which — alongside emergency care — I also manage patients with neurological vascular diseases requiring ongoing follow-up and planned treatment.
