About Me

Prof. Dr. János Strausz has been a defining figure in Hungarian pulmonology for more than four decades. As a clinician, institutional leader, and researcher, he has actively contributed to the advancement of modern diagnostics and treatment of respiratory diseases. His professional focus is on lung tumours, rare pulmonary diseases, and interventional bronchoscopy. In addition to patient care, he has played a significant role in medical education, with over 230 scientific publications and numerous professional awards to his name. He currently sees patients within the adult pulmonology outpatient service.
