I am Dr Orsolya Erzsébet Vági, a specialist in internal medicine and diabetology. I obtained my medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University with summa cum laude honours, and later completed my board certification in internal medicine with excellent results. I subsequently obtained licence examinations in diabetology, as well as in lifestyle medicine and prevention. I earned my PhD through research into the neurological complications of diabetes. In addition to clinical patient care, my work also includes scientific research and teaching at the Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology, Semmelweis University.
My main areas of interest include the complex treatment of obesity, diabetes care, lifestyle medicine, and the prevention and early detection of diabetes-related complications. My aim is to provide my patients with personalised, modern and sustainable long-term treatment that focuses not only on improving laboratory results, but also on enhancing quality of life.
In my medical practice, I consider empathetic, partnership-based communication essential, together with scientifically grounded therapeutic solutions that can also be realistically implemented in everyday life.
